Yikes!!!!!!
All of a sudden breastfeeding hurts again! 😭 it hurt maybe the first month and then I’ve been fine until a few days ago! She is 6 months now. Any ideas? Anyone have the same thing? She has all the signs/symptoms of teething but no teeth yet. She nurses a lot but that hasn’t really changed or increased she has just always been a round the clock kinda gal!

@ashleyraecollier, my son used me like a teether right before his first teeth came in. I definitely was sore from it. Hormones would make sense too though.

@mrs.hibben, no period yet but that would make sense! And definitely not something I would have thought of. I have not had my first postpartum period yet so I guess hormone changes could cause sore nips!

@humblewarriormama, it feels like it did for the first few weeks. Just sore and painful when she nurses. No discoloration at all. Hurts every time.

What kind of pain is it? Is there any redness/whiteness/discoloration around the nipple? Does it hurt at any specific time?
Sorry for all the questions, just have a few ideas but wanted to get more details.

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. A'zuri we to the doc today because she has been doing a lot of crying and they told me she teething but she only 2 months she'll be 3 on the 3rd of next month.!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

@mrs.hibben, @humblewarriormama, thank you ladies! I think she could be gnawing a little so that could be the reason. And still no period which I’m not complaining about.
