No you can still have it because I have it and my son is 6 months

No. The postpartum period is actually a year from birth, it's why they don't recommend getting pregnant prior to a year after baby, you're still returning to pre pregnancy physically and emotionally. It is completely within the realm of normal to develop postpartum depression or anxiety 5 months after birth. Do you have a primary care doctor or midwife you're able to address this with mama?

I’m honestly just sad a lot more and find myself wanting to cry.. or getting irritated a lot, could it be hormones?

Your still at high risk of PPD up to a year after birth. Definitely talk to your doctor.
