how long after a planned section are you allowed your mum and family to see you? are you like.. out of it or just numb?…

Depends on whether you had to have a general anaesthetic or just the spinal, i had spinal and i was just numb and couldn't feel my feet/legs. I was allowed visitors when I went down to the ward. My partner and son were allowed at any time.

Thank you and. There was 6 ppl going down that day and you get number and time they put you on a ward and family can go on until you go down and when when your back. And I did not get up until next morning as was in pain but was home the next day x

@abbyrose, how long do you think you spend in theatre after the babies are out?

As soon as your out of theatre they can see you x

@crazygirl16062006, oh really! congrats! any idea how long it was betweeen actually being sewn up and sorted and being allowed to see people?

I had mine Monday. And soon as was out and at home now resting. And I was just very shattered and the painkiller are amazing 😉

I think you’re just numb I had an emergency section and my mum was allowed to see me after when I was right out of theatre xx
