Do doctors check for dilation at any point? I only have two appointments left so I’m wondering will they check 🤔

@khawkins, yeah I thought it was a UTI because it was pain also when going to the bathroom. Yeah next week might be better also, you’ll be closer to your due date

@khawkins,next week that you go in or when you have an appointment tell them that you have cramping an they have to check you

Mine is checking me next wednesdays I'll be 36 weeks

@dayvan789, Maybe it’s because I see the midwives? Idk but I’m 38 weeks Friday and I just had an appointment yesterday and I didn’t get checked

@mamabear008, Thank you, I just had an appointment yesterday and told them about my pelvic pain but they just said it was normal and didn’t check anything but I’m gonna bring it up at my next appointment next week

They should have already at 37 weeks that’s when they start checking I’m 31 weeks an they check me because off cramping an I’m 2cm dilated they just want me too take it easy @khawkins,

Most doctors will check around 37-38 weeks or if you feel discomfort and you express that to them. I know when I felt a lighting feeling down there, they checked me and I was 3cm dilated. And the next day literally I went into labor

My doctor normally does it at 36 or 37 weeks but not all doctors do you can ask when you go next time.
