These are amazing! They taste exactly like juice and it's water with no sugar.
@mhbb3 my friend grew up with her dad giving her mnt dew and Pepsi in her bottle 😄 Did he mind the fizz? I feel like thats a different feeling for a little kid to take in 🤣
@scidg3 Sugar from fruits and juice is better than say high fructose corn syrup or stevia but I don't know how much better. I think we just have to try our best. An occasional sugary treat won't hurt them. It seems luke you are very conscientious about what ypu give them. That's great!😊
@mhbb3 🤣 my kids live off water. In 2 years I can count like 3 times they have had watered down juice. I've taken almost all sugar other than bread and fruit away from my kids so I'm like I feel like they still deserve "treats" so I'm trying to think of a few yummy non sugary items we can add to their diet. Also they are small so I need them to have calories. These Waters are supposed to be good for their teeth which is my main goal as of now.
@mhbb3 no no no! I don't think that. Honestly the past few months I've been stressing and seriously looking and open to different options. We can't do sugar, so that's limiting options and it's like do I risk a little stevia.... Or could their be something better. Stressful is all it is!! 🤣
you shoulda seen the back lash I got when I admitted he occasionally gets a little soda lol
Please know I'm not passing judgement at all. Its so hard now to avoid chemicals and additives. Tbh I give my son apple juice, water, milk and he occasionally has kool aid or a little soda.
You are doing the very best you can.💕
@mhbb3 I see it as any other product I buy in a store and choose to give them. This isn't a product my kids will have even once a week. What from the US doesn't come from China or another country?!! 😄 For now they can't have sugar and this is a replacement treat that doesn't suck balls. Do you have any suggestions or a kind you use?
@mhbb3, companies are getting more and more creative with their wording and it’s gross the government allows it
@scidg3, I buy pure haven toothpaste. I heard of a hello brand? But I haven’t looked into it. It’s disgusting. When I found out that many plant based milks have fluoride I flipped 😡😡
oh shoulda read the comments. I hate that. You think something is good and healthy but those sweeteners are bad for you. I was hoping it was sweetened with fruit.
If you try it, let me know how they like it! @ecahanes 😊
@scidg3, hmm maybe I will look for that one. I'm not sure I know the brand I got was made by moms or something
Another one that drives me crazy..... Toothpaste! @laniejay 😵🙄
@laniejay Isn't that the truth! At this point I'm like how do I want to die.... Processed foods or stevia?!! 😆 🤷
@scidg3, it’s crazy hard isn’t it?!? Why can’t we just trust companies to make good things 😩
@laniejay I can't remember what Apple and Eve product I saw but it had sugar and juice from concentrate which I'm not a huge fan of.....it probably wasn't the water fruit ones that you are talking about here so I'll have to look into those!
@ecahanes oh you've tried this brand?!!! Dang I don't drink juice often and I water it down for myself.... I feel like I have to water this down too! 🤣
@laniejay I feel like anything and everything I research is like a dead end when it comes to what our needs are at this time. I feel like I have to pick and choose my battles right now and I wish I could have access to exactly what we need and there be no regulations.... holes to jump through to make sure my kids are getting the healthiest choices possible.
@scidg3, well idk I've tried it and they only have like two sips and then done 🤷🏼♀️
@maddiesmommy16 I live in NC, Harris Teeter.... I checked out their website and found that store.... They are also sold online. I paid $3.99 for a box and it was a new item in store. Hope this helps 😄
We love Apple & Eve water fruits. Similar idea- have you tried those? I’m a huge fan of Apple & Eve as their great at sourcing. For instance, they ensure water for their drinks go through RO so they don’t contain things like fluoride.
Can you tell I’m Uber careful with our products 😬
@ecahanes I had one tonight, I keep calling it juice they even have a color so unless they can read I don't think they would be able to tell.
@scidg3, unless it’s grown from home- typical FDA approved stevia is chemically processed and has additives. They get to say it’s not an artificial sweetener because it’s “plant derived”, but once it’s been processed it is just as bad as artificial sweeteners.
Eh I'll take it @laniejay I've pretty much taken everything away from my poor kids. One of these every so often is a fun "treat" why don't you like stevia?
Grrr why does it have to have stevia? I always get excited to see something cool and it’s always a let down 😔
I wish I would have know about them before I started juice because I think it definitely would have been perfect
@scidg3 He likes it. We dont keep it around but sometimes he gets a little of mine when we go to McDonald's. He's good about accepting water and milk too.
