Mama’s I need advice because I am freaking out 😩 Emma’s doctor just called and told me she tested positive for Bart’s Anemia during her newborn screening, and that I need to make her an appointment with a hemoglobinologist as soon as possible.. I’m sitting here crying because 1) I don’t even know what that is 2) I feel like I did something wrong 😭any info helps!

Anemia is just when someone has very low iron... It's not that severe so don't stress. They'll probably just test her iron levels again and probably recommend a formula rich in iron or something else that can help bring her levels up. My son is lightly anemic as well

I don't know what it is either, but regardless, you did nothing wrong!
