They also could probably point you in the direction of local charities and food banks that may have also voucher systems in place for specific goods (like a car, toiletries, etc.)
You could also start looking into programs like Toys for Tots so you're not so stressed about the impending holidays. I hope you find the resources you need and are able to work through this difficult time.
