My tentative induction is November 12/13 at 38 weeks exactly. I'm seriously thinking about about taking maternity leave 2 weeks before that. I'm uncomfortable and mentally just want a break. Thang is once I take leave my 2 year will have to be pulled out of daycare - and money is going to be super tight once I go on maternity leave regardless + daycare ceases. The stress - although I know Jehovah will get us through 💪🏾

It’s worth it! My last pregnancy I was induced at 39 weeks. I took off at 38, but looking back wish I had given myself an extra week. This time I’m taking off at the end of 36 weeks. It’s just two extra weeks- is there someone that can help with childcare at least once in a while so you can have some breaks?

Ugh I wish I could but that would mean I’d have to put more money back for bills 😩 I’m really trying to work through it but I’m right there with you I’m ready to be relaxing

@angelfoodcake, yeah it’s not to bad for me yet but this boy is getting heavier and my back is killing me most days 5 weeks left for me 💪🏽 I’m trying we got this

@alyboo102293 It's not unbearable but getting there and mentally I just want to Lodge all day. At night time it's torture tho foreal. We got this tho..6 weeks here as of tomorrow

@angelfoodcake, when I’m on leave I’ll still be taking care of my daughter, but it will be so much less stress than work AND caring for her when i get home. I think it’s still better. It looks like you have a 12 year old? Can you bribe your 12 year old with an extra hour before bedtime or his favorite dessert to keep an eye on your toddler while you take a bath or an hour nap? Little things like that help!
