@rebelprincesz24, my last Makena shot is this Thursday . My doctor told me I could skip it but I chose not too . My mucus plug came out with the blood . The thing is I haven’t been feeling any contractions with my first son I didn’t feel them until I was 6 centimeters .
@quanandmelosmommyyy, I know how you feel mama, I’m literally in the same boat, had my last makena shot the week before last and at my last appointment I was almost 4 cm dilated. I’ve been losing my mucus plug for a while now and still haven’t seen any blood yet, but I just know in my heart I won’t make it past Wednesday considering I’ve had contractions and been feeling crampy
My first was over due and i am hoping this one cus before due date but it dont look like it

@amanda.galloway0313, I have been getting the Makena injection to stop preterm labor . I’m high risk for preterm labor . I honestly wish I wasn’t dilated so much already . My cervix is soft . I wanted to go to 40 weeks .

Oh wow i haven't even dilated yet and its my second and i am 37 weeks and 3days

@quanandmelosmommyyy, my last pregnancy I lost my plug with the blood in it a week before I had my daughter, I also didn’t really have intense contractions when I went in for my 36 week appointment I was already 6/7 cm dilated and the dr was completely shocked at how I wasn’t in pain
