Any other mommies out their stocking up on diapers and wipes already... Yes I know some may disagree about doing this because the baby may break out to some or certain brands not working for us but we keep all the receipts Incase we need to return or exchange

My son was a premie just before 34 weeks and he was 7 pounds 6.5 ounces and we nearly lost him. His lungs were not mature. Doesn’t matter how big they are they can still be underdeveloped if born before term! He was flown to children’s hospital from our local and wasn’t expected to make it. Yes he’s now 8 but wow did he struggle with bad asthma till about 5-6.

Yeah my baby was nearly 9lbs in ultrasound gave birth at 40 weeks 6days and she was exactly 7lbs ..

I was told mines measuring bigger, I never tried forcing him out until it was safe.

They told me Baylor weighed six and half pounds....... I was induced the next day, because he couldn’t keep his heart rate up, and he weighed nine and a half pounds.

We were told my son was going to be between 9 and 12 pound at birth I'm now only 3 weeks away from my due date and he's only just over 5 pound so he's small, no one should ever try and induce their own labour

My doctor told me the weight is off by up to 2lbs so it’s very inaccurate. Which someone argued with me before on here about but I think my doctor has more experience lol they said I was going to have big baby and she was 7lbs. They even talked about induced me bc she was going to be “big due to GD”

Agreed! My ultrasound was only a little off tho. They said my son was about 9lbs at 35 weeks. He was born at 38 weeks at 10.3lbs

They said my son would be 10 pounds according to the ultrasound at 33 weeks. I even was advised to start a keto diet. My son was born at 37 weeks Only 5 pounds 13 oz

Before my induction at 37 & 6 (keep in mind my little girl was IUGR) the sonogram showed she weighed 5lbs 2oz, she was born at 5lbs 5oz. It’s not an exact science, but occasionally they are pretty spot on.
