I haven't been on in a while because of family issues. But I have to get this off my chest. We are currently under CPS investigation before of a lie my sd told. She had a bruise on her leg from a fall at her graduation farm, but when she was asked about at school by a teacher she said her dad beat her with a belt. That is completely untrue. Her dad would never put his hands on her or any of the other kids like that. When I asked her why she said it, thinking that maybe she was talking about her stepdad, she said she did it because she was mad at us. She has shown no remorse and even mocked her brother for being upset about this. For those of you familiar with my sd's issues, I know you will believe me. And for those of you that don't, feel free to ask.

Things got worse. She told my 6 year old she was going to kill her. Hit me and my husband, it escalated quickly
@tiredmom I'm sorry y'all are having to go through that. And I'm sorry she endured that much pain as a infant. Prayers that things get better for y'all.

@sassybitch hey it might be even easier soon, we're going to move to Jacksonville. Florida has way better resources for kids like her.

@evildrporkchop. We are definitely cooperating but it still takes 45 day to close a case here. We just have to wait it out. Did things get better with your sd?
I am so sorry! That is awful. We have been through similar with my SD (13) she told teachers at school we had completely stopped feeding her, and of course they called and reported it. They quickly realized after coming to our house and seeing our pantry and fridge. We completely cooperated and it was closed
@laniejay I know, it's the wait that's getting to me. And how this is effecting the other 2 kids.
@mrshammond17 yes she did. We gave cps her full background so they understand what she came from. At this point she might end up living with her grandmother because she doesn't have any other children for my sd to go after if she gets mad.
Although an investigation from CPS is stressful, if it’s unfounded and her therapists know of her situation- you should be cleared. This could be a positive thing to help you get her the help she needs. I hope it ends positively for you. Poor child sounds deeply troubled and I hope someone can help.
@tiredmom omg that's so sad and heartbreaking. 😭 That baby endured alot as a baby
@mrshammond17 she was abused by her bio mom and uncle and aunt when she was a baby until we got custody of her a year ago. She has severe anger issues as well as depression and anxiety. And some kind of attachment disorder. She needs a full Psychological evaluation to see if there's anything else.

@mrshammond17 thank you. We're trying our hardest to get her help. Her therapist has sent us to someone else, but I haven't been able to get through to the new therapist yet
We went thru this as well. Our oldest daughter has been a challenge since she was little. When she was in 1st grade she told her teacher we didn’t feed her anything and starved her. CPS got called. We had plenty of food and she was angry because I did not buy junk food that week and told her we were going to start limiting the junk food in the house. The investigation was closed very quickly.
Later when she was in 3rd grade, she told her teacher not to call me and let me know she got in trouble at school because we were going to beat her so bad that she was not going to be able to return to school. CPS got called and they opened an investigation that was closed very quickly. My daughter confessed that she only said that because she had a a friends event she wanted to attend too and if I got a call from the teacher she wouldn’t have been able to go. She got grounded for a good month. We also took her to therapy to be able to understand that lying is not okay. Raising kids is a challenge. Some are easier than others. You have bad and good days. Keep giving her the help she needs and one day she will thank you.
