My midwife said they do, but I don't think they do anything to help personally other than give me backache

I was squatting throughout my entire pregnancy with weights up until the day before I gave birth. I think it helped A lot when it came to pushing

@shay2beautiful because it could cause body to go into stress that far along - most Drs recommend you keep doing what you doing - if you weren't working out prior too or during.... I wouldn't just bust out at 38 weeks trying to squat... Walking yes. Even non pregnant women who do squats for the first time or first time in a long time get sore afterwards. I just wouldn't - this is someone one who lifts , runs and yoga although I haven't the entire pregnancy.

@shay2beautiful it definitely did help and alot of walking.. the membrane sweep sent everything in overdrive though lol

@shay2beautiful, I picked up a yoga ball today, and that’s been helping. I started feeling contractions after 10 minutes. I want to get some sleep tonight, but I plan on bouncing on it again tomorrow.

@penelope127 Yes. Hopefully things start for you.. My son is too comfortable I haven't even had contractions yet.
