How do I know when I'm in labour? Apparently you just know but I just don't!

@erincharliebubba well I've been getting tightenings and then pain just before where the pubic hair starts to grow then I've been getting a pressure type feeling on my legs. Just were it separates from your leg to the vagina x
@shaninex97, extreme period cramps and tbh @chloeanabelle.xo, has a point because I only just made it to the hospital with my 3rd as I had the back labour and no tighntings in my belly but I did know it was happening because it hurt like a bitch xxx

Midwife usually have a 5-1-1 rule. Your contractions have to be every 5 minutes, lasting 1 minute each for 1 hour. But I didn't know I was in labour with my first so I've never agreed with that whole "you know when its labour". All my pain was in my back so i had no idea and when I finally relented and went to the hospital I was fully dilated. If your not 100% sure you can always ring the hospital. They won't think badly of you or anything for not knowing, they will just advise you on what they think it is once you've described the pain to them hun xx

@shaninex97, when things get more intense , I mean you could be in early slow labour but that can last days especially with your first. Obvious signs are waters going, bloody show... tue labour you get regular contractions , painful and come every 5mins lasting a minute xxx
@erincharliebubba but how tho I mean I've been getting back ache and bad tightenings.. I'm thinking could this be the start but also could it just be Braxton hicks. So confused... xxx

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
