I got it at 13 weeks as a preventative. I had a spinal to get it. The procedure itself wasn’t too bad. Some pressure. The worst part for me was that there were med students there and the dr was describing everything.
The spinal was another story. I am one of those people that if there’s a weird side affect, I get it. That thing killed me for 2 weeks. Terrible headaches etc.
For a few weeks I could feel the stitch. Like an irritation inside. Then you get used to it and it’s fine. Towards the end, my guy would punch it. We watched him do it on the ultrasound many times 😑
However, I made it to 37.6 after a 23 weeker so I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
