When my daughter tantrums I send her to her room. I iust say I understand you are upset but if you are going to continue to cry please do it in your room and come back out when you are done... She actually does it... I'm so thankful! It teaches her to work through disappointment on her own too which helps her as well!

@mct, I need to try that with my daughter!! I had read about doing a “quiet corner” but I’m not sure about that one and I’ve tried timeout, ignoring it, talking to her calmly and everything else I could think of but she’s very strong-willed and stubborn so nothing usually helps lol I’ll definitely try that out though

@caseyann19 exactly especially when she's happy one minute then runs down the hall crying I'm like what's wrong. Lol I think she's just a drama queen

@caseyann19 yes it is. I recently started ignoring it. As long as i know his perfectly fine and just throwing a tantrum. I ignore it and continue doing what i'm doing. Once he realizes nobody is paying attention he stops.
