Who all has gotten -or- plans to get the FLU SHOT. I just don't trust it at all; but my Dr. is really adamant about it - being baby is being born in fall/winter and it's "suppose" to be a bad season this year.
I try to get mine every year but especially when I’m pregnant. I just got it about two weeks ago
There are different strains of the flu. The flu shot protects against the most common or most dangerous one. But it is possible you could still get the flu even if you’ve gotten the flu shot. My son got the flu shot last year and did not get the flu. He got other viruses like roseola UGH but no flu!
I let our daughter get it but of course we had to agree about. Daddy said YES and even though I was skeptical with the death rate of the babies from the flu for 2017 I went ahead and did it. She was just fine but I also kept her indoors a lot.
I never get it. Neither do my kids. You can refuse. And I’m about to have my 3rd winter baby
I've never had a flu shot, never had the flu. I had my baby in November and declined it then. I also knew i wouldn't have the baby out in public much until spring and was on top of making sure my daughter washed her hands as soon as she came home from school or in from out playing
We all get ours. My mom has health problems and I don't want her to get sick.
Both my boys have gotten it and I’ll be stopping by Walgreens to get mine. It’s supposed to hit early and be just as bad as last year. I’ll be making sure my parents get it as well.
I always get mine , never got the flu except the year I didn’t get it.

Nope not doing it. The last time I got it my son and I was sicker than sick. Haven’t gotten it since 2005.... praising God for not getting sick or getting the flu. Praying it continues
Flu shot every year, for me, my husband and my daughter. I also ask anyone who spends a lot of time with her (my mother in law) to be up to date too. I have a preemie who is still on oxygen at night. I don’t take any chances.
I never get the shot. Neither do the kids. I don't believe in it either. I've can't remember the last time I had the flu. Disclaimer: I'm vegan & take echinacea and Goldenseal vitamins when I'm around sick people. Kids & husband aren't vegan though and neither has had the flu in years.
I don't trust it either. The flu has too many strains and I know they try to make it for the most common/dangerous strains, I feel like they're just guessing... wasn't last year's only 10% effective? I'm all for the education though. Inform me why it's important to get. So far, never had the flu since I've been alive... *goes and knock on wood* lol. I don't trust no vaccine for no virus that I have to get every year
They told me that back in 2017 when I had got ready to pop. But I gonna get mine in a few days. Might as well pharmacy giving $10 gift card.
I think people are under the false impression the flu shot keeps you from getting the flu. 🤔
I get the shot every year. Mostly because I worked in health care and my risk was higher. I still get it. My kids get it. I got the flu with the shot. I also got the flu before I had a chance to get the shot. Let me tell you: I'd rather have had the shot than not because without the shot I thought I was fucking DYING. Worst experience with sickness in my LIFE.
