Relationship advice needed!
My boyfriend has really been getting on my nerves. He owns a landscaping company so we have a lot of stuff. (cars, trucks etc)
I feel like he’s always the go to when something goes wrong. When someone needs money, when someone’s car goes bad, he’s the go to because he helps everyone out. and by everyone I mean his family. yes his family asks him for money. even though we just had a baby. He let his employee have his truck for 3 months because his car wasn’t working. He then let his brother drive his jeep for 3 weeks and now his dad has his other truck because something happened to his car that now my boyfriend has to fix. I feel like people complain to him because they know he’s going to help. Them driving his cars around doesn’t effect me but he works all day and I only get to see him at night and then he has to fix someone’s car. or he has to drive my car around because everyone else has his vehicles. He’s always helping someone else out, yet I ask him to help with the laundry or change our daughters diaper and he can’t do it. We just got into an argument because I told him to stop. stop loaning people money. stop fixing everyone’s problems and stop letting people drive your vehicles around that you spent your money on. just stop it! He basically responded with “you can’t tell me what to do” and now we aren’t talking.
I know i’m probably over exaggerating a little bit but would anyone else be annoyed? that he can’t help me with anything cuz he has to do something for someone else? or that he has to drive my car around because all his others are lent to people. I’m just so over it.

I'd be super aggravated. I'm a generous person, but I recognize when someone is taking advantage of me. The using my vehicle thing would really tick me off. I use to hate when my hubby used mine lol

I understand helping those who need it but there is a difference between helping and basically just doing everything for everyone. I feel like if he has enough time to help others he should at least have time for a diaper change or laundry. Try and talking to him and seeing if maybe he could have a day without having to go and help someone? Hopefully you guys figure it out! Good luck! :)

I would be annoyed as well . It’s amazing that he had a big heart and wants to help out everyone because he’s in the position to do so but it should be a line on how much he does for people . It seems like people are taking advantage of him now because like you said , they know he will help . If you leave the door open for the Fox to get in he will keep coming back to find something that he needs. If you feed the cat once it will keep coming back expecting more food because you feed him once and the time after . He really should put his foot down and tell them at least they need to pay him back or something. What if they total his cars ? Then he had to pay for all of that .

It can be aggravating. My hubs is the same way. He can let someone borrow $100 but not have the money for this or that. Cars are all mine so i make that call and most the time no lol unless i really trust them and i give them the old vehicle. In case of wreck my insurance will handle it. We have our own money and ill tell him a thousand times not to help and if he still does on him. Not my problem. Love he helps others but people take advantage. Let that be on him talk to him about it. You and your kid come first.
