Well I’m 80% effaced and 2cm dilated, let’s hope that things start moving along cause I really don’t want to be induced. Any tips on how to get things moving along? Or any stories on how long you ladies may have sat at this point before delivery?

@aengs2, oh how interesting I’ve heard of like yoga poses like that but never actual crawling. I may have to try that. Thank you.
One thing I'd never heard before is to crawl around on the floor. My husband was making me crawl. Worth a shot!
@kambam, yea they had given me like a 2 week window for when I was due the 14-29th.
Thats good! Its normal for 1st babies to be late. Or any baby really because due dates aren't solid. Just an estimate. A hormone released by the baby is what actually starts labor. Only happens when baby is developed enough.

That's fairly normal though, just saying. You can go from a 1-10 in an hour or stay at 2 then 10 suddenly. Or anywhere in between.
Only thing I'd recommend is getting chiro adjustment as it could get baby lower and optimal position for birth. They come when ready though. All the usual stuff is fine and dandy: sex, walking, squats, ball bouncing.
@kambam, they are going to induce me on Monday if I haven’t progressed any farther cause I’ve already sat at 2 cm for almost 3 weeks now.
Why would they induce you? If you wait for labor, it will happen.
