Hahaha! I’m moving over by Jacinto Park if you know where that is... over by Consumnes River College and there’s a 24 hour fitness and a cute school nearby. The goal was to get into Elk Grove USD for my son. I can’t wait.

Its about 40mins from me. Sounds fantastic though, hope it works out

@kambam, yes! I’m 22 weeks so December will be the last month I can travel. 😔

@amouryaya09, okay cool. My hubby will do the move while I’m up north in WA state. My Dad is having a hip replacement and my background is in nursing so my son and I are going up there to take care of my Dad and young siblings. I’ll be in back around 11/1

So if they dont ship you you'll stay back or everyone will? @amouryaya09

@kambam, most likely my son I and would have to stay and my husband would have to go and get settled there. The only thing that sucks is that I would have to wait at least 3 months to fly anywhere because of my blood clot treatment afterwards. 🙄

@amouryaya09, I went to school in WA, my Dad lives up by the Canadian border, and one of my closest friends lives in Tacoma. I’m going to be seeing her while I’m up there. I swear I’m up there 3-4 times a year for 3-4 weeks at a time. The area is comparable in price to Sacramento, but completely different weather.

@fairykarmamomma, I was looking at that! The price range is pretty much the same. I think you get a little more for your money in WA from what I’ve seen. I would love a weather change! 🤗

@fairykarmamomma, you will definitely like the house prices here lol. My bff just moved from here to Castro valley. Crazy difference in house prices!

@rowdy-vajazzy, we tried to move in May but it didn’t work out. My rent is cheap for bay rent, and my house payment won’t be more than my current rent and I’ll be more than doubling my space and I’ll be in a great district. I can’t wait!!!

@fairykarmamomma, have you checked greatschools.org for the school rating where you are moving? We messed up when we first bought our house and our “home school” is very low rated, even in a good district. Luckily we got into a great charter!

@rowdy-vajazzy, yeah I looked into that. Because of my sons special needs there’s a good chance he won’t go to the school by the house and be bused elsewhere in the district. But I found a pretty decent area I could afford and the schools seem decent, WAAAAAY better than where I am now.
