Hi moms,I’ve been really down lately... I’ve always been this girl that was always busy and on a move never stayed in the house but since I’ve had my little one all I do is stay in the house (specially since I don’t have transportation) my boyfriend is at work all day and when he is home he doesn’t feel like doing anything (which makes sense) anyways how do a lot of stay at home moms deal with being in the house?
@christianflemons97 he does take us out, but I recently stopped driving because I just found out i had a warrant from back 2009 that I had no idea about so now I have to have him chauffer me everywhere
Since I can't drive
I just got spoiled going everywhere with out him I seriously had somewhere to go every weekend now I'm here and he irritates me how he drives so i won't even bother
Yeah the asd thing is important to me, hopefully he comes home tonight and says we are going so the kids can have fun
@god.is.love, that’s the sucky part because I have family by me and nobody comes to see me as well or even offers to give me a break or take me out or anything. If you were in the same state I would’ve came to visit you somehow. It’s just comforting know I have other people to talk to this about.
@roses702, I know what you mean I would kind of hint at the things I want to do and he would get it but not give the response I want. Have you talked to him about it? I usually have to tell my boyfriend how I’m feeling about stuff ( even though I don’t feel I have to) I mean your man should be able to take you out every once in a while even if he is tired. He is doing the one thing that makes him happy now he has to remember being in the house isn’t something the guys can do cause it will drive them crazy but that also goes for us so he should take you out every once in a while or something. And he should be supporting the kids that have autism since your LO has it
@christianflemons97 yes it most definitely is very depressing and it sucks to not interact with other adults. No one ever really visits us and that only makes me feel lonely. 😟
@christianflemons97 it just sucks, I wish his job didn't take his energy but her loves it because he's on his feet and moving around and says he gets exercise there..
Like today there's an event to support autism in summerlin and I really want to go since I always take my kids to support autism but he's just said I'll pay for your Lyft .. That's not what I want him to say, I want him to go as well ( our LO has autism)
@god.is.love, I definitely understand you on the 100 degrees it’s really not good too take the kids out in that weather (well not for my LO) but 3 years? You are a strong momma bear but it is very depressing only being able to talk too kids all day instead of a face to face adult interaction ☹️
@roses702, we are human, yes they go to work and be tired be we are on a 24 hr job as well and sometimes we need a break or a day off to do something fun. Every once in a while. Specially the mamas that have no transportation that’s always harder on us 😕
@mr.aidensmommy, thank you love💕 I am here if you need someone to talk too as well ☺️
I've been a SAHM for 3 years and it's very difficult being home alone with the kids for most part of the day and not having anyone to talk to. It can be very depressing at times and I feel like it has made me very anxious as well. I do have a car but I don't really have anywhere to go since I live in a small town and there's not much to do around here. Besides it's still over 100° out 😩😫😞
It is depressing being home all day,
At first I enjoyed it but now it's over a year and I want a job now even though I complained about working before
I don't have transportation either and my hubby is exhausted from work too so we rarely go out anymore
@christianflemons97, well I’m here if you need someone to talk to hun 😊
@oooshefit, well I’m still working on my DL and it’s his car I know
Take the car when he gets home and leave. Why does he have to be with you ?
@mr.aidensmommy, it’s so difficult, before I had my son I was working 2 jobs so on days off I was still never in the house I found things to do, now I’m just sitting in the house bored and idk how long I can do it. It’s hard being a stay at home mom with nobody to talk to. I hope it gets better for the both of us
Honestly, I try my best to keep myself busy, even when my son is napping through the day, because it is depressing. I don’t have transportation either, and my boyfriend comes for a few hours and leaves for work, since we don’t live together, but even when he is here, I’m still doing everything. I’m playing with, feeding, and changing our son. So I try my best to keep my mind going. But I’m getting tired of everything
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Who else is a stay at home mom? 💗
I’ve likely been exposed to the corona virus. My coworker has been at work all week while her husband was at home waiting for his test results to come back. He tested positive.
stay at home wives/moms do you agree that our spouses shouldn't help around the house or baby because they work? I feel that we're in this together but my mom made the comment that my husband works and he shouldn't have to stay up with the baby
I just asked my husband if he could change our daughter’s diaper and he straight up refused and said that he worked all day and it’s not his job. Oh so I guess I’ve just sat on my ass all day and have done nothing since I’m stay at home mom? 🤬
@christianflemons97 riight!? Like we want to go out too and the kids can come along but there's no one to at least go out and eat with or something. And awwe thanks girl 😊 Yes, it helps to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
