How in the world do you wash a 5 ft teddy bear without sending an arm & a leg on stupid dry cleaning!? My fiance bought me one for Valentine's Day last year & it's been in storage (we were homeless for a while). Well, when I went to get it out, it smelled like dust & gasoline. But I don't wanna throw it out for sure. It's even still really pretty! I'm just not sure how to get the smell out! & my washing machine quit on top of it, so that's not an option. I'm lost here.

Go to a coin laundromat and they should have an industrial size washer and dryer! I've done it for a few oversized body pillows

If no stains or not dirty get fabreeze or carpet powder and vacuum it

I totally agree with going to a laundromat. They have massive washers and dryers. But I also agree with fabreeze it. I have two giant teddy bears. And I just said screw it and just dealt with the dusty smell. Mine were in storage for a while too.

Also try putting it in the sun on a really sunny day. It kills germs naturally
