Is there some sort of regression when they hit 2? Noah is all over the place, waking in the night, wanting me to cuddle him to sleep, nap times (which we stopped) consist of him cuddling up and putting his hand up for me to kiss to get him to sleep 🤦♀️
Its like he's gone back to being a baby 😂 he's always been super independent by putting himself to sleep and all that so just seems weird.
Might I add he isn't full on crying on a night it's just him getting up and doing a needy cry that's super high pitched for me to get up and see to him 😂
The regress in stages usually about every 6 months until they're 3 xx
Max has never been a grest sleeper so any regression he has is x10 worse than what I had to deal with Morgan. Hopefully Noah's doesn't last as long!
@sara-lou86 Oh no I can't deal with it being to long 😂 yeah today I got him down at 2 and he was up at 6. I was like really kid 😂 they must be hanging on to the baby side before they become super independent.
Max was just starting to sleep through and to a decent time until the last couple of months. He's gone right back to waking and wanting me. That's fine I can deal with cuddles. It's when he doesn't go back or waking up at 5am everyday 😂 He's 2yrs 2months so still waiting for it to pass!
@noshinxoxo Noahs the same, been in his own room and had no problems unless teething or ill and now I'm like ahh baby stage again super needy. Fingers crossed it doesn't last long! X
Same. I thought it was because he was in a new big bed but just seems like a regression now. He doesn't even moan, just wakes up and climbs into our bed and if I tell him to go back, he'll go back but probabaly come again 5 mins later or ask that we come sleep with him. He's been sleeping on his own in his own room since he like 9 months so it's just annoying to go so backwards! Also I kind of love sleeping next to him sometimes because he's so Independant and has always been so lol but realistically I don't want to encourage a bad habit. It's hard.
@markswife2011 @lauramackay2016 @nataliesmith96 Aww it looks like it might be some sort of regression then, fingers crossed it doesn't last long. I love that I'm getting more cuddles just not at 2am 😂 x
My little one has done this aswell!! Since she turned 2 her sleep has been awful and she wants me near her all the time which is lovely.. but sometimes a pain especially when i cook she hangs off mt leg!! Xx
My son was 2 on the 25th and he's going through the same too. X
I work night shift, 6pm till 2am or later. My boyfriend works days, so he's gone when the kids get up. That puts me getting up early with the kids. I'm so over tired there are days that I can't function. I'mthinking about quitting. Letting my boyfriend go back to working 2 jobs (he likes it better that way). But that puts him not being home at all and me being home all the time. But he'll be happier and I'll have more sleep. I'm just not sure what to do. There's down sides with either choice.
So bf every night pushes me away to cuddle he says cuz bed uncomfortable and i kept getting pushed away so i slept at the bottom of bed or put a pillow in between us and gets mad he says not like im doing this on purpose why it’s only it’s ok when it’s convenient for him to cuddle when he wants to cuddle but not me ? Why can’t I get comfortable with trying to find ways to sleep by cuddling a pillow or sleep upside down I point things out and turn it around it’s my fault.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I have a question why is my toddler fussy while sleeping 😴? This is starting to worry me because I’m up all night trying to get him to stop crying...
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
@willow.gray oh really? never knew that! Helpful to know though
