What kind of untrue things does your mom try to say? I'm over here having a hard time even trying to describe why my mom buts heads with me & my sister... lol

I’m 27 and yes we still have our disagreements. Sometimes they’re Small and sometimes bigger arguments. We usually go back to normal depending on the disagreement. We never stay mad at each other.

@cindyy119 ummm... sometimes I won't speak to her for a couple weeks, just to calm down. Unfortunately she'll never change. My sister hasn't spoken to her and a couple of months (for her own reasons) but deep down we (sis) both wish to be able to fix things simply, or sooner then later ya know

My mother tried to disown me. She's told me she wished she'd never given birth to me. She's called me every name under the sun. But time heals all wounds. I know that in a month's time, when I see her and tell her I'm pregnant, she'll be my mum all over again

My dad and I get into it a lot because he literally just says false things or reinvents the past and I just can't seem to let it go like my sister does. And he and I went about 6 months without speaking at the longest point...my sister's and mom's advice is to just let him believe what he wants and move on...idk I can't seem to get that down.

I fight with her all the time because the bitch thinks because she “raised” me , she can raise my kids. Nahhhhh B, not your time. Ever 😂

@airwren123 just family drama she still thinks i am 15 and she can tell me what to do and i was having a stressful day on sunday about to break down and cry and she thought i was mad and she said i will never come with her again on a moni vacation

@cindyy119 I always have to make the first move unfortunately and there is always some of me giving in and having to ignore some part of the conversation to get over it and remember the part of the relationship that I DO want to preserve. Just create a few sentence peace statement and give it a go. Mine was something like" dad I'm not trying to start anything, but I want to know how you're doing and be able to check up on you. If that's all our conversation is that's ok" and it led to a flowing convo because no he didn't just want our existence to be like that so yeah

I said since she thinks she raised me, she thinks she can take control and raise my kids. She absolutely hates the fact I put her in her place everytime. I don’t let my MIL get away with it and I wouldn’t let my own mom get away with it

@cindyy119 that's the thing, I can't ever truly forgive someone like her. She is a pathological liar and unfortunately a product of her environment. All I can do is keep my wits about me, not believe everything she says and out my life and family first
