@itty_bitty, I don’t mind! I’m 28, I’ll be 29 in November. I know age and the number of children will have them trying to talk you out of it. My midwife asked me 3 times if I was sure lol I told her “listen, I’m positive!” 3 was always my final number of children and I finally got a girl out of it so I’m more than satisfied

If this is too invasive you don’t have to answer. I’m just curious since I’m still trying to make up my mind. Are you having a Caesarian or going for vaginal birth and the tubal after? Ideally I want to do a vaginal birth again but not sure how that works with a tubal ligation. So I’m still considering my options.

@flamingomom, no problem! I’m having a vaginal birth then they will have me wait 24 hours for my “bilateral” tubal ligation. I had my left tube removed a few years ago so since I only have 1 tube, they will cut and burn it.

@itty_bitty, just know states differ on it. For mine the papers had to be signed 30 days before birth if I wanted it done. If I would have had him earlier then I would have had to wait until after my postpartum appointment. But luckily he stayed put just long enough. I had it done the day after giving birth. I had a vaginal delivery. And I’m 25. I hope that helps!
