I told my husband what I wanted to get our pets for Christmas and he told me It wasn’t normal to get your pets a Christmas gift. (I want to get our dog a real dog bed since she just sleeps on pillows on the floor now, and our cat her own plush blanket since she’s always cuddling with my son’s) This will be our first Christmas with our pets and as a family as 4, and on our own since we lived with his parents for my son’s first 2. I’m really excited so who else gets their pets a gift?

Sometimes I get my dogs bones for Christmas but that’s about it lol. If I needed something else for them I’d just get it and give it to them right then. But nothing wrong with treating your pets like part of the family and including them in Christmas if it makes you feel good!
Edit: I did have stockings hung for my dogs for Christmas before my daughter was born 😂

Well I have guinea pigs and I always give them a bunch of chew toys. Because they like to chew on blocks and stuff. And a few treats.

I totally get gifts for my pets for Christmas, even stockings! There’s nothing wrong with treating them with a holiday surprise, they’re definitely apart of the family too💞😇

I’ve always gotten my pets something for Christmas lol, they have pet stockings at a few stores down here and I usually get them one and a few other things, didn’t do it last year because of how everything had been but I think I’ll get the kitty something this year if money is in a good spot.
