@jasmine.moore7509, I had it with my first daughter! They just have to give u antibiotics while in labor and of course while delivering. As long as ur on the IV antibiotics baby will be fine! They didn’t tel me I had to be there for so many hours or anything. As soon as my water broke I headed to the hospital which is 30-45 minutes from where I lived at the time! And my daughter is just fine.

It extremely common. My MIL had it with her baby but i didn't have it with mine. The way our doctor explained it was Group B is everywhere, and most pregnant women get it. My MIL just went in when she got her bloody show (39 weeks) they admitted her and hooked her up to antibiotics.

@penelope127, It’s so aggravating has your doctor told you that you need to be there four hours prior I mean sometimes that’s out of your hands

Just means that when you think you’re in labor or your water breaks you have to get to the hospital ASAP. You just need to have antibiotics given to you before birth. I’ve seen some say it takes 4 hours, and others say they just keep giving it to you until you deliver. 🤷🏼‍♀️ either way you need to be there at least 4 hours before baby is born. I have it too, I guess it’s pretty common.
