After you deliver your baby. What birth control will you get?

I’m on the pill. I ended up not breastfeeding so I got a combination pill called trinessa

Nexplonan

Condoms paired with breastfeeding and “natural” family planning ie-not having sex on peak ovulation days. I don’t get pregnant very easily so it works for us.

Thinking of doing the patch or nuva ring

I’m getting my tubes tied after this one is out. I can’t trust birth control anymore!

I don't recommend.

I use the patch, but i also couldnt breastfeed. I think if you breastfeed the only option is mini pill

It’s a non-hormonal/copper iud that lasts ten years I had it for nine years took it out in January got pregnant the same

Month and I’ll be putting it back in never had any scares or problems

@simply_mee, yes i have :) but I gotten it taking it out over 9 months now cause husband was deployed and I’m trying to have my 3rd now that he’s back:)

@simply_mee, my periods where a little heavier I bleed for seven days instead of five cramps which my doc gave me naproxen for other than that I didn’t have Many side effects

@simply_mee, I loved it cause I didn’t gain weight , it was good for 3 year and I literally had unprotected sex all the time and never got pregnant :) and it goes in your arm , I don’t trust anything going in my areas ! Heck to the NOO lol plus I could always feel and check if the nexplonan was still there in my arm

I got pregnant on the pill but i planned on the implant. Im just scared ill gain weight

@simply_mee because there's hormones but less. 🤷🏻 thats what ive been told anyway i may have understood wrong.

@simply_mee, I can’t use birth control with estrogen and I tried the progesterone only and had a bad reaction. I don’t believe in getting (my) tubes tied and don’t trust the copper IUD so that doesn’t leave me much of a choice 😂. I’m glad it works for me too!!!

@jasmine.moore7509, did you get irregular periods? or pain with intercourse? or vaginal infections? the possible side effect worry me 😰
