How is everyone feeling about having visitors at the hospital I am torn between letting just family at the hospital or…

I think that it totally depends on how you are feeling afterwards.

If you have a rough labor than you might just want you and very close family etc.

Only my SO will be in the hospital while I give birth and my older kids, sisters and mom will come over after baby is born

You should do whatever you want. Do not worry about what others want. Tell them to wait from coming to your house too, if you want. But with twins, extra hands can be nice. 👋👋👋👋

@alice-quinnsmommy, with our first daughter everyone was there I was overwhelmed and she was passed around like a hot potato before I even got to bond with her but I was young and didn’t say anything,

this time I’m older and I want to avoid it all together but was worried I was being selfish

@stacy7 Makes absolute sense you don't want to share your brand new babies. That was one of my first thoughts and I was worried I was being selfish until my MIL reassured me. Plus, you wouldn't want to risk harming their little lungs or getting them any kind of sick. Also don't want to overwhelm too much, it's a lot for you and the babies.

@alice-quinnsmommy, I’m so glad we aren’t the only ones most of friends smoke cigarettes and we are scared of people getting them sick or not giving us bonding time because they just show up and never leave. I rather just tell everyone no visitors till we are ready

Only me and SO at the hospital. No visitors, no one will know I'm in labor so no one can even ask to come. People will be told baby is here and at a to be determined time we will take her out to meet people in small groups or have them over.
