Should a baby get a bath every day or every other day? I give my son one every other day cause his scalp is so dry.

At 2 months old once a week is enough

@girlmom., we use jergens to but the coconut one I’ve been thinking about trying that on him

The body wash still works good for him luckily

Just regular Quaker oatmeal works?? I’ll haven’t try it especially with winter coming

@lksmith514, that’s what we used on my oldest wash and lotion it made my youngest skink worse 😩 that’s what we started out with at first

@mombie., Aveeno Excema baby lotion worked for us

@mombie. I have found adult lotion works so much better. We use Jergens non scented.. And she used dove sensitive body wash.

Get some old fashion oatmeal and just dump it in his tub water. I use about 2 cups. No instant tho

@girlmom., I’ve never done the oatmeal bath I’ve done coconut oil in the bath though that seems to help

We use Aquaphor in the bath and the Eucerin after only things that help him we have tried other stuff but didn’t work but now the eucerin isn’t working like it use to so now I’m on the search for a new lotion

@girlmom., that is weird the more I bathe him the more he breaks out his doctor told us to try only once a week and don’t let him sit in the soap long and his skin has been much better since still dry but not all red and dry patches every where

It’ll dry it out more washing everyday. I did the same thing massage a lil coconut oil on his scalp that’ll help:)

If he has dry skin less baths if his skin is fine than I don’t think it matters as much my boys had really dry skin so as babies kaysen had a bath every 2 days kooper has eczema bad so he gets a bath 1-2 a week depending what we did and dirty he gets we stay home usually though so he doesn’t get dirty

I bath Maddox every day. It’s part of his bedtime routine. I think it depends on your child’s skin!

I do the same everyday cause he have some rolls
