Experiences with early intervention for your child? My son is 15 months and isn’t walking yet and is only saying mama and dada and nuh uh. My first son that is now 3 had to do early intervention when he was a little younger than a year old due to being born 6 weeks early but was already walking and on time with all of his milestones yet they were saying his coordination was off which it wasn’t for his age.

We did with my son at 18months. He was only saying a few words at that point and he had help til 3 and it worked great for him.

My son didn't say much either at that age but it was because he was so young still. As soon as he his 2 years he started talking a lot more and learning new words all the time

@ladyblauvelt, that’s what I was thinking. My first born said a few words at that age but didn’t actually start talking til 18-20 months. And I believe every baby meets their milestones at different times.

My son is only 14 months old and he doesn't say any words yet. I mean he babbles a lot but no words. He was walking by 9 months but no talking. My oldest started talking really early but didnt even attempt to walk till after 13 or 14 months. I'm starting to worry about the no talking

@2-mommies, I mean I’m worried as well about the no talking but the walking he’s cruising along furniture and is in the 62nd percentile in weight so I feel confident that he will get the walking down soon.

@nfb061417 if hes cruising, I'm sure it's only a matter of time. When my son was born, he failed his hearing test in his left ear. He was also born with a tag on his left ear, which the dr said can mean hearing problems. We went back for a more in depth hearing test and he passed. I'm starting to worry that maybe that wasn't so accurate. It's hard to tell if he is ignoring me or if he can't hear me so I'm going to schedule another hearing test.

@2-mommies, yeah I’d do it to be safe. We did physical therapy when he was about 6-8 months because he had torticollis and we loved our physical therapist. It was very helpful so I wanted to go that route. I just ain’t a big fan of early intervention.
