I’m sooooo tired mommas 😞😞😞 my daughter has had an awful cold since Friday I’ve tried humidifier vapor rubs medicine nose frida to help keep her nose cleaned , warm clothes at all time she’s just not getting any better she’s almost out of the bottle I just brought Saturday and she’s was taking it every 4 hrs back to back . She’s barely eating and this the 3rd night with little sleep she’s so congested she can’t sleep . She’s waking up crying every hr and coughing her lungs out and gagging that it makes her spit up . We don’t get to sleep until at least 4/5 in the morning just to be up for good around 7 and to deal with her being miserable all day . I’m just exhausted at this point and just going to call her doctor before I buy her another bottle of medicine because to me that’s too much . She’s only 1 she’s on meds every 4 hrs for the past 3 days and she’s not getting any better

@jenylaielli88, turns out she has a bad sinus infection and double ear infection so glad I took her . They gave her different meds and told me if she’s not all better by Friday to bring her back in . They said they’re surprised she’s wasn’t crying more than she was . Cause he nose ears throat everything is so congested and irritated
O my bad cuz i saw u say I'm not taking that chance nah u shouldnt when it comes to ur kids fuck that lol.. Yep u gta do what u gta do for ur babies i hear u ... Thats crazy cuz those two r the best thinhs u can use with a cold .
@jenylaielli88, I didn’t say you said that . I’m saying that Ive done all that and more and in my cases vapor rubs and all the natural remedies have never worked for her so I at some point resort to real medicine and then have to still take her in .
But anywho hope she feels better i know the feeling
@prestonjeanetta0120 girl i never said dont take her 2 doctors i m saying try that in the meantime cuz i know that feeling both my kids just finished getting sick so i kbow and i used them both throughout night thats what helped them so go n take them to doctors by all means
And last time I just waited it out turned out she had an respiratory infection from all the draining into her chest I’m not taking that chance again . She was sick for 3 weeks last last time
@jenylaielli88, that’s what I was using before I resulted to the medicine . I resorted to the medicine because she can’t lay flat without choking and slit up mucus . That’s not normal for me . My kids have colds but nothing like that
vicks n saline spray thats natural u can give her that whenever not the medicine but yeah go head .
@jenylaielli88, @rndmshtt, @butterscotch, yea I called the doctor they said they don’t want me giving her meds like that 4 days every 4 hrs and different kinds of meds is too much for her little body . They said she should of been better or close to so it don’t sound like an cold . They told me to bring her in this morning so they can check her out and prescribe me something . So we’re about to start getting ready

@butterscotch, she’s had colds before and nothing to where she can’t lay flat cause of the mucus or coughing so hard she’s gagging and spitting up . She has a really good doctor and they always take her right in if they feel the need too . So we’ll see
@rndmshtt, right i feel like to have her go through another bottle is a lot for her she’s only 1 so if that’s not working it has to be more than just a simple cold
Might wanna take her in, just so the pediatrician can perscribe hopefully something thatll help clear it up much quicker. Poor thing has already gone through almost a bottle of medication.
When she runs out of this medicine which should be sometime today I’ll call her doctor and see what else they prefer me to do now that I haven’t tried already . I could see if she’s was getting better than if that be fine cause I’d know at some point she’ll be fine rather it’s a day or two but it’s day 3 and she’s not and certain things are only getting worse like her cough and gagging I can deal with the runny nose

@jenylaielli88, that’s what I’ve been using baby vapor rubs . 2 different brands plus the nose saline plus the nose frida nose saline and tubing . Plus cough and cold that’s for children which is 2 old her for cause infant medicine never works for her when she’s really sick . It’s Vick’s in the humidifier as well . Last month when my son passed her his cold the same happened nothing worked and ended up having to take her in and she was sick for so long that it turned into an infection and she needed antibiotics to knock it out . So I’m hoping this is actually a cold and not another virus of some sort because NOTHING is working she’s not getting better
Also there is a cold medicine i forgot the name its company name is zarbys that shit good to n she can take its natural
Try baby Vicks for her cough that shit is amazing n it works instantly n the spray for babies for thier nose i know u said u tried that but tey the matys it works

My baby is still on the size bottles that you get in hospital because the tete on the tommee tippee bottles (and any other bottle) is too big for her... but i think I need to get her on the normal bottles now but is she still to small? She’s just over 6 pounds 🤔...

Mommies, thoughts on picking up or coddling a newborn every time they cry?
My baby’s been fussy the last couple of days and me or my husband will pick her up every time she cries and she’s getting used to that I’m assuming. I just don’t want her to be fussy and she cries like someone’s murdering her.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
