I decided on the ParaGard iud just waiting on my period so i get get it inserted. Has anybody got this? How was it getting it put in? Did you have any cramps or anything? Were your periods heavier for the first couple months? Did you end up getting pregnant on it? Also has your man felt it while y’all were having sex? I wanna know your experiences the good and the bad! Thank y’all!

@annekam1022, totally worth a shot then, I know what it’s like to be unable to find a birth control that works for me all too well. I hope it works for you! I totally loved not having to take anything and I really didn’t feel it unless I was working out.
@mimixtmn, yes i did. I know there’s a chance of it getting lodged and all that. My doctor went through everything with me. We both decide it’s the best one for me I’ve tried over 6 different methods and they all mess me up. So I’m hoping since the ParaGard is non hormonal it’ll work for me. But in the back of my mind I’m like watch I’ll be allergic to the copper lol which will be my luck lol. I don’t know what I’ll do if this doesn’t work😫😣
I had mirena and the cramps were insane later in the day I had it inserted, I have high pain tolerance so I was not expecting it. My man could feel it when we had sex. Also after 18 months I found out I was pregnant and my iud was lodged in my cervix I had to have it surgically removed. My pregnancy ended up being ectopic as well (common in iud pregnancies). I am terrified of the iud for life and don’t recommend it to anyone after what I went thru, don’t mean to scare you but you said the good and bad lol.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
