When you lose your mucus plug is it normal to feel intense contractions everyday after? Because I lost mine and ever since then my contractions have hurt so bad I couldn't walk or move. I've also had the pain so intense that my whole body started shaking.
@kittycupcake if your having really bad contractions and are 5 mins apart she should have said come in but my doctor said when you get to that point don't call just go in
@kittycupcake I would go in an get checked just to be safe wish you luck
@kittycupcake if you go in they will check you. If you need to call your OB, even if it is an answering service. Leave a message of what's going on, I'm sure they'll tell you to go in as well
@ashleybradford92 I called the Ob unit at the hospital and the lady told me the only way to tell is if I'm dilated. But she didn't recommend that I come in to get checked. I'm confused and if the only way to tell is if I get checked to see if I'm dilated then why cant she just let me go in and at least get it checked?
I agree with everyone. The longer you wait, if you're in labor, the less they can do. Always go in if you're worried. Even they will tell you it's better to go in and it be nothing than to wait. Good luck hun keep us updated
@kittycupcake depends on what your body is doing. They may order bed rest. Might give you meds to help keep baby in. And they will monitor you more closely.
My friend had a 32 week and 5day baby. Don't wait. Get it checked
They can start you on meds that should help to stop contractions and keep the baby in for longer. They'll also give a few steriod shots to help develop lungs faster just in case
@boymamaa Is that why my body hasnt been wanting to eat? Like I've been feeling like I'm sick or somthing and my belly wont digest my food it just sticks to my stomach or gets thrown up.
@mswedes Is there anything they can do? Or will they just send me home if I'm not dilated?
Your mucus plug also rebuilds itself and you can loose it many many times. But I would also go get checked to make sure everything is ok!
@kittycupcake have you leaked any fluid besides your mucus plug because looseing mucus plug is normal
