@jessica_mceachern_133 awww yeah I still bloat, every time I eat I bloat, no matter how much it is. That's why I always take my belly pics in the morning because there's no bloat. Lol it's so uncomfortable !
@angikay it's definitely starting but I'm still at that incredibly bloated stage. But this is my second so my midwife says I'll probably really start showing in the next few weeks.

Love seeing your updates every week! I cant wait till I really start showing and can take my weekly update picture too!
@blessed2018w9 thanks love !! Me too! Now that Youve explained it to me about when the third trimester starts, it makes sense to me !! Definetly week 28. I've never really put much thought into it, but I've seen alot of women post at 26 weeks staying they are in the third trimester. I'm gonna have to start correcting them or else it'll erk my nerves too. Lol
@blessed2018w9 10 pounds 6 ounces !!! Big baby !! Did you have section with that one or vaginal?? Girl I would die !! Lol all of my sisters boys were huge as well. She delivered all by section though! Journee is definetly going to be a big baby as well, atleast she is healthy that is truly all that matters , plus who doesn't like squeezing and kissing on little fat chubby cheeks ... on a little chunky baby?? Haha.. It's seriously the best and cutest!! My sister in law just got her tubes tied after having my nephew a month and a half ago. She regrets it now as we speak. She said it only sounded good at the time , after delivery. I feel for her.
@angikay I go by traditional weeks for the past 21yrs I have no clue were these man made Google charts came from but there absolutely not correct..it erks me when I see woman posting at wk26 saying FINALLY IN THE 3RD TRIMESTER!!..😒...SMH...3rd trimester starts at wk28 and yes some months due have 5wks in them which can throw you off but it end up being 40wks pregnant....why would you wanna start a new trimester the week b4 a new month starts? Makes no sense, ya know?
@angikay my mom is the same! Smokes and wont stop...atv32wks she was 5 lbs 7 oz she gained 2 lbs since wk28 (3 lbs 2 oz) babies golrow half a pound to a pound a week now and having diabetes makes them bigger and grow bigger then normal size babies...at 32wks? She should of just hit a little over 4 lbs, at 36wks? She "should be" in the 6 lb range but going from wk32-wk36 for me? I'm sure shell between 7lbs -8lbs...my biggest with diablo was my almost 3yr old she 10 lbs 6.4 oz induced wk39 4 days..yes my tubes tied story is in my profile all about me.. I preach against tubes tieing to anyone that will listen defensively not worth it
@blessed2018w9 my pregnancy has been good so since I've been out of the first trimester. The first trimester was full of scares , and worries and doubts from all the bleeding I was having. But things have been so good so far!! I go back October 3rd, I'm hoping I get to see her again soon, I miss seeing her so often. My tech had me spoiled lol silly question, but I've heard different tthings, when exactly does my third trimester start? What week?
@blessed2018w9 you think journee is really gonna weigh that much once she is born?? 10 or 11 pounds ? How much is she weighing right now ? I never knew you had your tubes tied before.. I imagine it would be depressing. And that's just tube tying!! But to get a hysterecromy, I'm assuming would be much more worse mentally than anything. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you don't have to get one of those. What does it depend on whether you have to get one or not ? The prolapse ?? My step mom had a tumor on her pituitary gland in her brain. They were actually able to get it with laser surgery I believe. But anything near the brain is just terrifying when it comes to surgery. And yeah, all of it has been really hard on her and of course us, as well. She suffers from copd also and just won't quit smoking. She's in a late stage of that. I don't get it. I try to talk her into getting off of cigarettes but it just doesn't seem to work. She smokes like a freight train. I wish she would stop, I'm literally having to watch her kill herself a little more each day and it really sucks, feeling helpless in these types of situations.
@blessed2018w9 I clicked on this link but it wouldn't let me go to the site for some reason. However, I did Google it myself and read about it, sounds scary. I hope it doesn't go from a second to a third for you!!
@angikay yes no Choice after this one...having a vaginal prolapse is somewhat painful there is a risk of TMI.....of my cervix falling out (3rd degree prolapse) literally coming out of my vagina...they haven't went in deaf with me much on it guess will see how things go with delivery which is something I'm terrified about having the prolapse..me pushing out a 10-11 lb baby? Having a 2nd degree prolapse already? But the doctors say weather I have a vaginal or csection it dosen't change the fact of having a 2nd degree prolapse and it would effect it either way I went..so its pretty much a wait an see game..I had my tubes tide and it made me feel less of woman and very depressed so I'm worried about a full Hysterectomy 😔😖 with my mental health (meaning depression again) and I'm very very sorry about your mom I know that must be hard. My mom has "some type" of a tumor on her head (we sinlings dont know really anything about it cause she won't talk to us about it at all) but it was the size of a peeble when I was 7 and now its the size of golf ball..but I don't know if this thing is cancerous? Or not? I remember hearing her talk to my dad saying they aren't able to get to it cause it's so close to the brain? I cant really go into detail when I dont fully know the truth. But she has migraines badly...hoping one day she'll discuss it, I worry alot about her.
@blessed2018w9 wow.. lots of problems I see. One After the other. I see why she will be your last, there's basically no choice now. Don't you have a choice whether you get a hysterectomy or not ? Or is it sometimes mandatory, depending on the situation? I know my mom had to get a hysterectomy due to cancer in all of her reproductive organs that she was diagnosed with while pregnant. They ended up medically aborting that one years ago.. a babygirl followed by hysterectomy. She said she doesn't feel the same anymore. I asked her what it feels like.. It was sad to hear all of the things she told me. She said she doesn't quite feel like a woman anymore , but I guess every woman's experiences are different with it, as with everything else. She's been battling cancer for about 10 years now, spreading from one thing to the next. She just had to get 5 big cancerous colon polyps or tumors out of her small and large intestines. She's been through alot. Thankfully they caught it before it got further along. Have you always had scoliosis? I've heard if you develop gestational diabetes you have a greater chance of having it later in life.. That is scary!! I'm glad that you have journee to complete y'alls family.. That makes me happy !!
@angikay yes shes my last cause my body is just worn down and literally falling apart..with this pregnancy I now have a 2nd degree vaginal prolapse meaning my vaginal area isn't strong like it once was and my cervix is failing to hold up theres already talk about a Hysterectomy sometime in 2019 because of it..not only that problem but now I have low thyroid issues, I have to have surgery after baby girl is born on my sinuses, I have scoliosis of the spine pregnancy isnt so kind on my back and recently diagnosed with sleep apnea, gestational diabetes isn't fun while pregnant and if you have that while pregnant you will eventually have it full blown later in life, SPD (hips hurting) isnt fun while pregnant it's just 1 thing after another...I'm older now and my body just isn't the young type to continue having children...will I miss having more? Yes but I feel content after Journee..I feel the Lord gave us her as the big finally of completing our family cause shes the only one out of the other 8 that will be born with a beautiful gift. What I'm more upset about is if I have to have the Hysterectomy..I dont want that I feel my woman hood will be taken away from me and I cant handle or except that..so I'm preparing for the worst but praying for the best
@blessed2018w9 losing a baby will definetly humble you and make you cherish every little ache and pain, or just everything in general about your pregnancy. You never know what could happen, even when things seems to be going fine. Life is so fragile and fickle. One minute someone is here, the next they could be gone. Are you sad this is gonna be the last baby for yall? Are you sure it's gonna be the last?? Lol I know you love kids !!
@angikay well I was 32 when I first got diagnosed with the GD with my daughter and I'm 37 now (38 in December) I honestly dont know if there is a age that your more higher risk for it but I'm no spring chicken lol I'm an older hen now lol and I dont mind answering questions I love to help when I can😊😉 I'm not perfect and i complain just like any other pregnant woman trust me haha but with this pregnancy...I've learned to cherish (stopping to cry a second)...I've learned to cherish every pain every given day given while pregnant just wish I didn't take my others for Granted especially Serenity..so yes I hurt, yes I'm uncomfortable yes I've had ups and downs this pregnancy but shes my last and I wanna cherish every little pain I'm able to have every day with her..and I love you more mama you have been my rock for a long time and I thank you for that my good friend
@blessed2018w9 I bet it is tough carrying around the extra weight from the high fluid levels though. I can imagine how miserable it would be, but you do it like it's nothing, and smile through it all.. one of the reasons why I love you !!! You're so strongg !!
@blessed2018w9 that makes sense that It happens with age I suppose ! So what age does you have a higher risk of getting? Curious. Don't you have a higher chance of developing it while carrying boys vs girls ? Thanks for answering all my questions and shedding light on all my curiosities, if anyone knows , I know you do.. youre the pro here. Lol that's why I ask you.
@angikay I didn't have it all with my first 4 kids and my first born was 9 lbs 5 oz...it happens with age can also deal with weight (my weight fluctuates were I'm pregnant and not) I've been pregnant 11 times (that I know of could of had chemicals and never know same with every woman in the world) but 11 that I'm aware of (2 miscarriages 1 stillborn...2012 May chemical, 2017 July stillborn, 2017 September chemical) anyways, age and weight plays a huge factor in having gestational diabetes
@blessed2018w9 atleast you get good 3d pictures when your fluid levels are high Lol it's better for them to be high than too low !
@blessed2018w9 gestational diabetes the last 5 times!! That's crazy you've had it so much. How do you get gestational diabetes ? Is it something that just kind of happens ?
@angikay yes I had high fluid levels with my 5yr old in 2013 and gestational diabetes last 5 times...its hard but worth it..and yea the fluid level has alot to do with the pics lol that's why the Techs like doing the 3Ds on me cause they can see her soo well
@blessed2018w9 oh wow, I can imagine the waterfall part lol so you've had high fluid levels before in any of your other pregnancies ? And gestational diabetes too?? The risks sounds scary but you're doing a great job at carrying her !! I always wondered why her pictures of her never show her smooshed up like most of them show when you're that far along.
@angikay yea definitely laying on a nerve..I've had my first 5 vaginal.my 6th was csection cause he was breeched (head up feet down) when my water broke at 39wks...then my last 2 were vbacs..my fluid level is extremely high because I ha e gestational diabetes it can be one of the symptoms not everyone experiences it but a few do..it makes your stomach alot larger measuring wks ahead. There can be risk like when water breaks baby could immediately have a cord prolapse from floating freely to suddenly dropping in the cervix..that's why shes transverse because she has soooo much fluid around her shes able to toss and turn freely without the feeling of being in 1 position and that's why her 3D ultrasounds always take great cause shes floating around and not smooshed up against me much..and when they break my water (or it breaks on own) it literally looks like a tsunami the doctor has to jump back because it looks like a huge waterfall coming out and I have to change gowns and socks lol
@blessed2018w9 wow.. your fluid level is extremely high. I don't know much about the fluid levels, are there risks involved when the fluid is that high? How does it get that high? What exactly does it mean ??
@blessed2018w9 oh no.. I'm sorry beautiful!! Sounds like she may be on your sciatic nerve. That runs down your butt cheek , and leg. I think it's pretty common for baby to be on that nerve. I've felt it a few times but nothing that lasted a long time, and it was hard for me to walk as well. So it sounds like that's what it might be ! Fx journee turns head down !! Have you had all your babies by csection? Or vaginal?
@angikay well since yesterday I've been down I'm assuming we're I have so much weight on my legs cause my fluid level is 37 (normal is between 8-18) and shes laying low Transverse she is laying on a nerve and I'm hardly unable to walk my left leg (as weird as this sounds) left butt area all the way down my left leg just feels like I've pulled something in my left butt cheek and it hurts to move (gonna post it later)..other then that I feel great tired alot in the 3rd trimester but that's part of pregnancy lol..32 days until I'm 38wks will have a vaginal check to see if I'm dilated any a d can talk about scheduling induction with water breaking or fully bulb(no medicine) or a csection if she hasn't turned head down yet (I pray she does)
@blessed2018w9 thanks hunny !! 😁😁😁 I know it really is starting to show alot more, I'm so in love with it too !! Especially watching baby's movement from the outside, she sticks her foot out, I'm assuming, maybe knee, and let's me touch it and doesn't even move!! Lol omg, so in love with her !! I can't wait to meet her! How are you love ?? Journee is soooo adorable !! Little chubby cheeks !! 5 more weeks and I can get my 4d and share Scarlette !!
@blessed2018w9 you've been mine as well!! 😙😙😙
