@alyboo102293, UGH!! That would upset me too and I feel your pain are you a CNA? Me too! I’ve been doing Med-tech the last couple of years and it’s much easier on my body except pushing the med carts I have to sit often lol but the other girl should do most of the heavy lifting and you the cleaning. My team would never let me lift by myself or even at all. What’s the staff to resident ratio in your state? Do you work assisted,adult or nursing home?

@melissaredfield87, I’m a CCMA/QMA so I work with 4-8 people depending on the staffing situation the boss will count herself as a third but not actually help it’s bullshit. But I work with adults with disabilities, which come with a slur of other things as far as behaviors & flat out struggling because they are all full assists as far as living goes. We also cook and clean for them. 🤦🏽‍♀️ when we are staffed right everything runs so smooth but for whatever reason they love to two staff me 😂🤷🏼‍♀️. Drives me nuts too and they almost put me out of work for not lifting not to long ago so my doctor said as long as I’m not hurting myself or others lifting them I’m okay to continue to do it. The meds are the worst though they have them on so many it’s amazing we can get everything done with two staff it’s so exhausting.

@alyboo102293, My goodness that’s a lot of work and yes definitely there’s a staffing problem or you must be really good at what you do that everyone wants the weekend off and let’s the pregnant girl do all the hard work! Been there done that so I feel your pain and yes take it easy,listen to your body if you know you can’t lift them don’t!! Have someone else do it even if the client is upset and please be careful I’ve seen so many women, girls, and pregnant mommas get hurt

In Ohio we call it a STNA, they changed it from CNA. I get what you mean 🙄I switched from full time to the weekend program where I only work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and still get paid for 40 hours. And I STILL be tired and I’m not even that far along 🙄They don’t have sympathy for pregnant people. This one lady worked right up to her due date. Smh. Couldn’t be me and it WONT be!

Dang girl, you are a superhero!!! I work full time and have a lot of discrimination at work and it's disgusting to me! I hate how bad ppl get treated when they're pregnant. What comes around goes around, smile and remember that beautiful
