Has anyone breastfed as teeth are coming in and gotten scraped by teeth, if so, did you find a remedy? I am trying lanolin but not sure if there is something better. He already has the bottom two and top two came out over a week ago. Thanks for any help! I want to continue ebf but we have to figure out how with all the teeth and I am sure it will get worse soon.

He chews and bites on my thumb so I know he isn’t biting but the teeth are present and/or rubbing. I do break the seal. I hear the sucking/air sometimes so I am not sure he is even sealing completely. I know he is in pain and he sometimes takes a while to latch, I think because he is scared he will bite me.
This is tough. I will try all of your suggestions. I try to have a teething ring by us at all times. I think I will clip it on me and use it whenever I feel his teeth. Thanks everyone!
Definitely take the baby off the boob and somewhat tell ouch no no. It shocks them and they get scared and won’t bite. My son is 16 months still breastfeeding and he’s only even bit me twice.
I always set my child down and said ouch really loud hed cry for minute and crawl back up to me usually he didnt mean too my daughter hasn't done it yet
Girl stop him every time and say no! That’s a no no put ur boob away and try again n 5-20 mins. My daughter was the worst it hurt so bad I stop every time she would bite stick ur finger in his mouth n break the suction n start over n a lil while.

The nurse told me I would have to stop Carmen from drinking out of bottles since she's has been switched to whole milk because it will start rotting out her teeth.🤔 Help me understand because either way wouldn't the whole milk still be in her mouth unless you brush her teeth ?
