Anyone have a “low normal” amniotic fluid measurement in late pregnancy and not get an induction? Interested to hear your experience and how you made your decision!
My doctor seems to think an induction will be the best idea (I’m currently 39 weeks) despite all non-stress tests coming back perfectly healthy, normal fetal heartbeat, normal blood pressure and heart rate for me, a baby that is measuring 70-75 percentile on the ultrasound (I know this isn’t super accurate but certainly doesn’t indicate a low birth weight by any means), and BPP scores of 8/8. I have otherwise had an optimal pregnancy with very few pregnancy symptoms even now at 39 weeks. I’m just worried that this seems like an unnecessary intervention when everything else has been smooth sailing and I couldn’t have asked for better pregnancy outcomes.
So I’m just wondering if anyone has any insight or experience with this kind of situation before I meet with my doctor to discuss my options! Any help is appreciated! ☺️
@spookylyn, I have minic. She hasn’t said what type of induction she would want to do yet, she said we would look at making a plan when I see her on Tuesday. We’ve continued having sex fairly regularly throughout the pregnancy, so it hasn’t done anything yet, but you never know! 😂
I am 31 weeks and 3 days pregrant plus type 2 diabetic so since 28 weeks every 2 weeks I go in for bpp ultrasounds and my fluid is good and I see obgyn every 2 weeks too plus my diabetic Dr every 2 weeks
I’m scheduled for a c section Thursday and I’m a bit nervous.
Have any of you had a c section? If so what was your experience?
Since my baby is so low and I’m having trouble walking and sitting down what can the doctors do?? They can feel his head already. I am not having a vaginal birth I’m having a c-section.
so what are yall experiences with pregnancy and birth if your doctor told you that you had low iron?
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
Any mommas on here Nurses ??
I have a question
I had a doctor appointment today and I’m a bit confused with what my doctor told me and what the papers say
@spookylyn, she’s been good so far, that being said, I haven’t had any issues to disagree with her about so far either lol. I would have liked to have a midwife tbh but since there aren’t any in GP, that wasn’t an option.
