Okay so my son would have problems with needing to pass gas and to poo so I would try and help by moving his legs, that didn’t help much. So I got this thing called (Grip Water by Mother Bliss) all night he would cry. I don’t know if that is causing him to cry or what? Have any of you mommas know or experience something the same??

@angelica13annie, since he’s still only 3 weeks old the doc has to give the okay before using any constipation meds or adding in an oz of water to his feedings. If he’s not going at least every other day I would take him in just to see what they recommend for constipation. Don’t switch formula, it could make it worse. & you can try the actual gas drops instead of gripe water, maybe that’ll help his tummy a little more 💙 how often does he poop?

@mama.kay, yes I’m using this one and well since I delivered him August 28th I was breast feeding a whole week then afterwards I did both formula and breast feeding.

Gripe water is more for like hiccups and discomfort.. for gas I use the gas drops and for constipation if he hasn’t gone in over a day or 2 I’ll use the mommy’s bliss constipation ease. But my son uses all 3 depending on what’s going on. Gripe water, gas drops and constipation ease. I’m assuming maybe he is crying cause he’s still gassy? Try gas drops instead. How long has he been on the formula? It takes at least 2 weeks for a babies body to get used to it. Has he pooped recently?

@fakoffyeh, I did both and I loved breastfeeding him cause I knew it was good for him but after a while I felt like I stopped producing and I got insecure about it.. so I’m doing formula the semilac sensitive.
