@masseymomma16 @mommytok I started taking it 3 days ago now and my throat irritation has led to mucus production and drainage and I just feel like allergies or a cold type of feeling. I have to keep taking the stool softener so I didn't know what to do to help it. (I am actually allergic to benadryl, I can try warm teas...i have done cough drops and cold water currently to no avail).

A lot of my patients had the throat irritation when they first started it but it usually goes away over time. Maybe try drinking tea or sipping on a cold drink?

@heilwife317, I wonder if Benadryl would help? Or gargling with warm salt water. Sorry I’m no help I have heard that is a side effect I haven’t known anyone that’s had it.

@masseymomma16 I know it is a side effect already of colace (OB told me and it is listed as a main side effect on the colace stuff) . I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing this and if so what they are doing for it.
