@newmommyy, I made a general statement that having my child be a little chilly during the winter & placing them into a car seat safely without a heavy puffy jacket was worth a few minutes of cold vs not having my child anymore because they were ejected from my car & someone got their panties in a bunch when I was literally just speaking on the fact that the cold alone couldn’t get anyone sick, germs get people sick cold weather does not. Honestly a lot of people do not know this so I was hoping to save some lives but no she got all butt hurt 😂 when I didn’t even read her comments on said thread.

@alyboo102293 lol people are too damn sensitive im causing anxiety attacks mean while. I keep the heat on in my cars too many layers would have my baby too hot

@k_nc, bacteria grows in warm conditions basically in the winter people tend to stay indoors in confined spaces where air is recirculated into the same spaces. Once a sick person contacts a certain bacteria or virus it then can be spread through air or on things such as handles/atm/card readers things you would more then likely come into contact with in the event that you leave your home. Hand sanitizer & Lysol & washing your hands are musts if you go out.

Totally agree. Especially with the car seat safety part like my kid can be cold for 10 seconds while we walk to the heated car so he won’t have to wear a big coat in his seat. But Isn’t there something about the cold weather that helps viruses and bacteria to survive? Which is why we are more prone to being sick in the winter? I feel like I ready that somewhere but could be totally wrong haha

@alyboo102293, the wet head one drives me nuts too my mil and her sister are constantly telling me and my daughters they are going to get sick from going to bed with wet hair because we usually wash at night and apparently it’s too cold to do that 🙄

Lol I made the mistake of telling my son this and then he tried to be smart and didn’t wanna wear his coat when it was freezing and when I told him to get his coat or he’ll get sick he responded with but you can’t get sick from the cold 😭

@ss3mom, idek I just know she took me way out of context when I hadn’t even read her comments at all. I just know from previous posts a lot of OPs will argue with the weather aspect of it as reasoning to be unsafe and it drives me nuts.

@megs03, lol people look at me crazy half the time cause my car gets super hot when the heat is going it’s like a 3 yard walk from my car to the door at work small facility driveway like parking and I’ll come in,in a t shirt in the middle of winter 😂😂😂. I haven’t been physically sick in years. Then again I stay in the house all winter.

Omg I used to be terrified to walk outside in the cold if I was wet😂 it blew my mind when I learned you don’t get sick from it.
