Anyone else got DIAGNOSED with GESTATIONAL DIABETES?? When they were pregnant ?
@_mommyoftres yes I have a ultrasound now every week . and they talking about inducing me at 36 or 37 weeks due to my fasting numbers not leveling out even with meds
@_mommyoftres, ya GD can cause macrosomia which is when a baby is born above average size. Thats what happened to my daughter, she was born 10 lbs. so just make sure you listen to your doctor, he’ll probably send you to a nutritionist where they’ll give you the run down about a healthier diet. And make sure to exercise
@blessed2018w9, ohhhhh okay , aw that’s good :))
@blessed2018w9, oh wow really ... 😩 how do you do it when you go to see your doctor with your kiddos . . Lol
@janery, ohhh okay thank you for telling me . So they would do more ultrasound to keep checking the placenta & baby ..
@momma_dee, oh wow really 😯, since I’m going to get a c section don’t know when they will make this schedule c section & plus with the GD . I’m just trippen 🙄 .
@_mommyoftres they monitor the baby on the nsts and bpp are to make sure baby is breathing and everything is going okay fluid wise and placenta is doing good
I did. I had to see my doctor more often because I was high risk due to the GD. And I didn’t make it to 40 weeks, got induced a week early and had an emergency c-section
@masseymomma16, ohhhh okay, Cause with my previous two pregnancies I gave birth @36 weeks , and c section . But didn’t have gestational diabetes with them . . I just hope I try holding my baby till 40 weeks .
@_mommyoftres, yes, not induced! I was set to be induced 3-4 days after but due to high blood pressure not GD. For GD they would induce me at 39 weeks exactly.
@honeyxxbee, aww really, you had your baby natural?
@janery, oh wow really 😯 what’s nst && bbp? Sorry
@masseymomma16, oh really... you had your baby natural ?
@_mommyoftres, My water broke one day shy of 38 weeks. I had a 7.1lbs baby girl. (They said she was going to be bigger)
I have it :/ I'm on insulin and metformin and get nst and bpp every week now
@masseymomma16, did you make it 40weeks? Did you have to see a high risk doctor ?
@blessed2018w9, did you have to see a high risk doctor ? & do you make it to 40 weeks ?
I had gestational diabeties but i was able to control it with my diet. I monitored my blood sugar levels throughout the day and wrote it down for mg obgyn to see. I also have another medical issue which puts me at high risk regardless. I had my daughter at 38 weeks.
