So I’ve decided to switch from breast milk to formula for a week. 😩😭 I’m pretty upset about it but I need to know if my milk is the reason behind his gassiness. Ive stopped drinking milk and switched to lactaid, doesn’t help. Grip water, doesn’t help. Mylicon, doesn’t help. I pumped until I got both the Foremilk and hind-milk out Incase there was an imbalance, doesn’t help. I’m running out of ideas and the only thing I can think of is to try enfamil gentlease for a week and see if it helps. If not, I’ll try another formula. Til then, Im just going to continue pumping and storing my milk until I ca figure out if it’s really me or not. Feel free to give formula recommendations that has works well for you!

Right, I wasn’t sure if it was spit or throw up either because it’s a lot to just be spit up! And also yes it seems like it’s comforting, it’s how I can put him to sleep at night without him freaking out! Let me know what you find out because I’d like to know if it’s normal or if it’s something of concern because we are in the same situations with our babies.

@mortonmining, same thing!! He chokes and spits up a lot of his food. Sometimes I wonder if it’s him throwing up. And sometimes when he is going through it, he continuously eats. It’s like it comforts him. It’s the only thing that stops him from crying 😩
I just read that you’re seeing a LC this week. Have her check. That is who discovered my son’s ties. We got them lasered and the gas was gone. My pediatrician wanted to prescribe Zantac for gas and reflux but those symptoms were from the ties.
Also- young babies are just gassy unfortunately. Pump your little one’s legs throughout the day and allow for lots of tummy time.

My baby does the same things your explaining and their around the same age, I thought it was normal? I get worried because baby will like spit up the milk as he feeds as well and then chokes on it! 😱. And then throws a bunch of it up.... 😢 it’s so hard to know what’s normal and what’s not..
Please check for a tongue or lip tie! Don’t switch just yet! Look online to see what you’re looking for in his mouth. My son had gas and I couldn’t figure it out. I thought it was my diet and nothing changed. Nursing seemed to be going well but he was getting in air bc of his ties. Most pediatricians don’t look and aren’t trained specifically to look for ties. Look on your own and or go to a specialist. Seriously! Breast milk is better for your baby and formula causes even more gas sometimes
@kambam, I’m just tired of him hurting! 😩 Sometimes he’ll cry in the middle of being fed.
🙁🙁 im sorry, I know its hard. Im glad youre seeing a LC though. I would continue to bf until then. So your supply stays up and baby is fed. Just know that babies can be pretty gassy until 3m or more. Theyre still developing their digestive tracts and all.

Not judging at all but switching to formula from bm can be highly irritating and will take anywhere from 2-3w to adjust with your baby

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
