So of course I’ve already had a kid, but I still feel scared and nervous and all you moms seem so brave and not even phased... like not scared at all! I’m more scared this time! Idk why! I’ve done it before, wasn’t even that bad! Idk 😩 I think part of it may come from me remembering EXACTLY how those REAL contractions feel LOL! Like... am I the only one freaking out about a whole other kid coming out of my vagina??? Then again, I reassure myself because this is what we’re made for 😅 whew! Almost there...just REALLY praying for the exact same wonderful delivery 🙏🏽🤞🏽✨
@haslberry, lol natural birth control 🤣 yes, but here we are all again! I totally get that though! Waiting for my attitude to change and get tough. Think bc I’m just a sitting duck right now. I know when everything pops off it’s all gonna go out the window!
I was so scared with my second because I knew exactly what the pain was going to be and how Labor really is. You are not alone
@sara_elizabeth2014, they do numb it locally, but you still feel the pinch and pulling. It's honestly nothing but an annoyance after the whole birthing process, and it's very quick. You are thoroughly distracted by your new baby.
I had a med free birth with my first (thankfully no complications), and plan to again with this one. I honestly think that having that pain is a natural birth control lol. I wasn't even thinking about another until my first was 18 months, and I have not been looking forward to labor this time around since I know what I'm up against.
I think that pregnancy gets exponentially more uncomfortable at the end to make you want to have the baby lol. My attitude is changing as each day passes to feeling ready to have this child. I think it's my body's/nature's way of making sure I'm only doing what I'm capable of.
@skyandangelsmom, same! I had an epidural with my first and when they stitched me i could feel her pulling every time but i was to busy staring at my baby to care. I just hope it’s the same way this time even though i won’t have an epidural. Also hope my labor isn’t as long or hard as it was as my first.
It’s my second and I’m scared and anxious I’m also praying for an easy delivery like I had with my first and that my baby is healthy 🙏🏽
I was terrified with my second too. It just brought back all the memories of my traumatic first delivery. Everytime they checked me and told me I was progressing I started crying because I was literally that scared to do it again.
I will say I had the most amazing 2nd birth I could have ever imagined..give me that delivery every time I'd have 10 more babies. It was so quick, he came out in one push.
My labor was significantly shorter 8 hours opposed to 22 hours. My contractions didnt start until hour 5 when they upped the pitocin.
So I guess all I'm trying to say is every delivery is different. Hopefully you get your easy delivery this time!!
@khecks21, Yessss 😩😩😩 and only bc of the way they have to get out lol not even so much the pain lmao sheesh! Crazy!
Totally feeling the same! One minute like omg baby fever and now, looking at the clothes going awweee then thinking about birth and wondering what I was thinking 😂😂😂
@sara_elizabeth2014, I ripped a little and got stitches! And I felt him stitching me up I was just more distracted by the fact my daughter was actually in my arms! Lol and I had an epidural 😤
I’m just scared that I’ll rip or that they will cut me and then I’ll need stitches. I do not want to have to get stitches. I don’t plan on getting an epidural this time so the stitches idea makes me nervous. I’m hoping they atleast numb it if they have to do them.
I’m over here like let’s do this and get it over with!!! This is my 4th kid, pop her out and send me home😂
@skyandangelsmom, lol exactly, and you weren’t joking when you said that those end contractions are painful 😣, good luck though mama we’ve got this, it’ll be done and over with so fast that we’ll forget how nervous, scared we are right now.
@rebelprincesz24, like I know I did it, but I made it out alive... lol mind blowing
@haslberry, good to know! Thank you. That made me feel better about it
