Update on his paci feeling helpless more like in trouble...
Update on the paci I tried all the different ones mom recommended and still no luck the dr even wants me to keep pushing for the paci but he is literally refusing I even put a drop of sugar water on it he spit them out idk what to do now cause he can't get milk Everytime he makes noise he want to use it as a paci but that's not good been trying since birth and he is totally refusing when I go back to work I want it as easy for his dad as possible but Loyal is not hearing it do you ladies know any other tricks I could try he sucked the new mam one for about a sec and spit it right out like nothing is coming out I know he is not hungry cause he will take 4oz then wants to drink another oz right after he burp but will stop sucking when he falling asleep soon I take the bottle out again he is upset. Then he put milks in his jaws and will have a fit when I squeeze it out I only do it cause it goes down the wrong pipe when he is laying down and I would have a fit of something happened to him

@mhbb3 I try but his thing is that he used to want my breast just sitting in there and the bottle so the dr recommended trying a paci cause its not good for him to use me as a paci or his bottle I swaddle and hold him alot
Why not soothe in a different way. Some babies just aren't down with them.
@taylorsmommy1017 ok i got a carrier for him and now I'm letting him lay on my chest he whine here and there for the bottle I just have him two oz and burped him and I just bathe him now he is swaddled laying there going to sleep
@laniejay thanks hun and I will go above and beyond of I think something is wrong I'ma start cutting how much he eat even if he gets angry

@ambrebby2u, good work, mama! In the mean time- pace feeding will help. Less food more often is better for reflux. You never want their tummy full. Keep him upright for 20 minutes after a feed. Babywearing helps.

4 oz is waaaaaay too much for a 3 week old baby. His belly is probably stretched. Be sure you are pace feeding, it should take 5 mins per .5 oz and a burp ever .5; once he’s older it’s a burp every 1 ounce and 1 ounce for ever 5 minutes. There are great images on google and videos on youtube.
Have you considered reflux (silent is a possibility too). They confuse the burning of the acid for hunger because they don’t know the difference. Also, milk is soothing. Look up the symptoms- watery eyes, red eyes, arching of the back, increased mucous, etc.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

He wants to keep eating and eating his limit is 4 oz but he'll still want more he won't stop crying unless I do what do I do he doesn't like his pacifier he spits it out 👶🏻
son getting out of car seat
So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. I don't know what to do, I have fed him like 6 times since 9:30 and he still seems to want more. But he keeps spitting up and spitting it out after awhile. And won't sleep and just cries and shoves his hands in his mouth and opens his mouth. Then he falls asleep for a bit and I put him down and 5 mins later he's crying. 😞
