So since my mom keeps dismissing the way I feel , I think I’m gonna try to find somewhere else to stay until March...she keeps protecting her step kids like they could never do no wrong. There are just to many red flags for me to allow my children to continue to be around it. It sucks having to basically shut my family out from my son & daughters but 🤷🏼♀️ she is acting like I’m the bad guy when these children could be molesting my daughters. Here’s the red flags.
The girl is 11
* she prefers to play with my 3 & 5 instead of my 9 year old who is closer to her age
* she’s always trying to get my girls alone into the play room , a bed room etc
*she constantly trying to hold, cuddle with or lay down with them no matter what time of day
*when she is holding my kids, they often will be crying for and anonymous reason & she’ll tell them to shut up nothing is wrong with them or you’ll hear a I’m sorry
* when she does get them in a room the door gets shut and they scream until it gets opened
* they’re both fully potty trained but she often try’s to take them into the bathroom when they don’t even have to go
* she’s always tryin to change their clothes
*she always wants them to sleep with her at night
And the list goes on...
@jordanrwilliams25, yeah either the girl has had something happen to her and is just projecting or she’s acting out curiosities on my kids either way I’m trying to avoid it altogether
Yeahhhh .. id get out of there. Some of it could be curiousity but some of the other things makes it seem like she's grooming them.
That’s def strange behaviour. My son is 11 and he has a few friends who are girls they interact with my daughters and never in the world would they be interested in doing those types of things with my daughters. Also the whole dressing thing sounds like how my 7&5 year old play with their 2 year old cousin and at that it’s more the 5 year old whose interested in doing that in a “playing mommy” type role. I don’t feel playing dress up is something an 11 year old would/should be interested in anymore.
Looks like the best decision is to leave that environment for the sake of your daughters. If you stay that's just the beginning and you don't know what else that little girl will try with your babies
you need to get you and your kids out of that situation. And as soon as you have everything worked out and you will be moving out, that's when I think you should bring it up to everyone. let them know exactly why you're moving out and your concerns about that poor little 11 year-old girl. Plant the seed. Don't just leave and not say anything, even if they get mad, at least at that point you'll be on your way out, but you need to plant that seed in your mom's head and let her husband know you have concerns.
You could even go as far as having someone check out her living situation with her mother, if you feel your concerns are that real, you need to protect your children but you should also try to protect that 11 year old girl as well, it's not her fault if something's happening to her and she's projecting it on to others.
@letmegetagrip sorry but I do have to agree unfortunately.. your mom should be concerned not dismissing you and your real concerns
@jordanrwilliams25 yeah it's kind of a guilty reaction. If he gets mad over something like that and her mom ignores it. Most parents would talk about it and seek the child help. Not ignore or get pissed off because shes getting accused of it. It's just a little strange.
@letmegetagrip yeah because I can see him being offended but he shouldn't ignore it and explode . Explosive issues or not .. that's kind of a guilty over protective reaction
@alyboo102293 maybe try to figure out a way to talk to your 5 year old .. she may not understand completely but she may understand simple explained questions about that girl and anything weird like touching anywhere .you just might get a weird answer or look on her face that will explain alot .. that other girl needs counseling
@alyboo102293 maybe he's doing it to her? And your mom knows she just doesnt want him to hurt her?
@alyboo102293.
Not your fault..it just hurt me later cause my parents knew about it at 5 and didn't put a stop to it.
@akirasisk11, my mom refuses to walk that line and even mention it to her husband because he’ll probably just flip his shit and try to divorce her & try to kick me and my kids out caught he has a explosive disorder but I feel like as a adult he should definitely be looking into seeking her help because something is way off with her
And most of the time when a girl who is 11 is acting like that somebody might be touching her wrong, that's probably why she thinks it's okay...
@akirasisk11, thank you , I’m sorry you went through that I also was touched by neighbor kids and thought nothing of it because I was young so I never spoke out but I remember it like it was yesterday & at the time it didn’t seem wrong we would be playing & I thought it was okay but lookin back now , no it wasn’t at all it was very wrong.
@alyboo102293 @jordanrwilliams25 I agree they have to learn it from someone. That's just not a normal thing for a child to be doing that to younger children.
Even the curiosity is from some sort of suggestion somehow
Kids I believe learn that stuff from somewhere it's not just like hey that's a pee pee let me play with mine and yours .. ya know what I mean?!
@jordanrwilliams25, yeah either the girl has had something happen to her and is just projecting or she’s acting out curiosities on my kids either way I’m trying to avoid it altogether
Happened to me a few times..
First time it happened i was 5 and my step brother was 10 and he used to touch or dry hump me, didn't think it was wrong until i was a adult.
And a other time it happened is when i was like 10 and touched wrong by a 16 old boy, it was my friends brother and i was at a sleep over.
And a other time i was touched wrong was when i was in my preteens by my foster dad.
So yea sounds pretty shady to me, i would find your own place and just get out of there.
@alyboo102293 sounds like a lot is being see or discussed with adults in inappropriate ways at her mother's house .. idk I'm just saying
@letmegetagrip, yeah she acts very odd around my kids and at first it all seemed innocent but over time I’ve gotten extremely uncomfortable when she’s around my kids because of how they behave when she leaves. One day after they went back to their moms house my 5 year old was playing at the bottom of our stairs in our living room and I over hear her asking her 3 year old sister if she wants to see her pee pee, I’ve never referred to her private as a “pee pee” so I’ve been on edge ever since that comment was made by her also it seems like my 3 year olds normal touching on herself amplifies when she is around and right after she leaves. I’m just at a loss with my family over it. @jordanrwilliams25,
My stepdads nephew was like that. He got in trouble for touching a girls private parts at school he got in big trouble for it. I think your being a good mom and making good choices about removing your children from a situation like that.
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
