Alright ladies I need some more advice. I work at an oral surgeon's office. We use nitrous oxide and have an older system so it is not all filtered out. I know I'm not supposed to be around it, as it can cause miscarriage and/or preterm birth. Since for the time being I'm playing the waiting game, should I tell my boss or not? I am working today to help out and of course I'll be there Monday as well before I go back for my repeat bloodwork. I've never told a boss so early in the pregnancy before and I'm really not sure what to do. Thoughts?
@gullible.the.dinosaur i see. I Just wouldn't say anything this early. When do you go back to the doctors for a redraw ?
@angikay as of this moment I am considering myself pregnant. I've taken multiple tests including a digit that are all positive. However, this happened with my chemicals as well. The lines I'm getting now are getting darker but with my hcg being so low and my doctor not being optimistic it's hard to be like "okay I'm pregnant for real."
But he also can't fire me. It doesn't affect my job other than I'll need to close the door by the front office or step outside while they're doing nitrous cases. I have no disciplinary issues that he could use as an excuse to fire me. But it was also really hard to work after my miscarriage because everyone knew about it. I'd like to avoid that if I do have an early loss.
Are you 100 percent sure you're pregnant ? If not , I wouldn't say anything at all because you could risk losing your job for nothing ! But if you are pregnant ,and not supposed to be around that , I would not risk it !! Baby comes first always !
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
