For me it was 6 weeks or after ob check up. Same as with vaginal delivery.

I had an emergency c section & it was side to side 🤔

I’d say 6 weeks and the all clear from your doctor.

After my first I did a few weeks after.... not realizing it was because you could get a serious infection in your uterus 😥 not just that it's gonna hurt. I am 100% waiting until 6wks this time! The entire area where your placenta was attached is a giant open wound and could get infected if you have sex before it heals.

I had a csection and I waited 6 weeks. Risk of infection is a serious thing, my health and wellbeing was worth the wait.

6 weeks was what my OB told me after mine.

@kaytibug2009, You said you went to med school?😂 It doesn’t matter how you get your c section you can still get an infection.

Didn’t you go to medical school pp? You should know how dangerous that could have been

I had sex a week and 3 days after mine. My husband made sure to go slow and make sure I didn't have to move a lot. Also my csection was an emergency one so it goes up and down from my bellybutton and not side to side like others.

I believe it’s the same 6 weeks

You should wait for the all clear from your doctor. That'll usually happen if all is well at your six week checkup.
