Only way to know is to get it checked by dr, nurse or midwife. Some people go through so much pain and contractions and when they go to the hospital some aren’t even dilated at all.
There’s no way to tell really. I didn’t know with my first or second with my third my vag was feeling really sore and it was swelling so i thought something was up and sure enough I was tossing and turning all night and at 4 am I knew I was in labor water broke a few min later.

@brittany88, it was hurting to walk earlier I took my contraction medicine cause I was starting to have contractions so hopefully it’ll help
