I'm almost 2cm dialtated how long after that did you ladies go into labor
When I got to the hospital, I was at 2.5 cm at around 6 am, had her at 10:51 am. It just depends. Like everyone has said.
@jordanrwilliams25, lol 😂 I was 40 weeks 5 days when I went into labor imagine how miserable I was 😩
Lol well I've been 3 cm for going on 4 damn weeks
@china_1 oh wow that happened fast
I had a ob appointment same day I went into labor at ob appointment I was 3cm dilated when I got to the hospital after my water broke I was 5cm I was only in labor 5 hours.
@vvrobinson glad everything went well for you I guess time will tell I wanna go natural but if I have to be induced or c-section then its fine as long as he's healthy and if thats the best choice
@jenny955 depends on your state, insurance, ob and hospital. My ob induces from 39 weeks up. Athena went breech at 37 weeks. We failed to turn her so we scheduled my csection. I went into labor naturally at 38.6 weeks 2 days before our set date. 12 hours of labor we decided to do the surgery. I didn't feel a single contraction and the csection was absolutely incredible. I healed perfectly. Second time around I asked for a second csection and we scheduled it around 39 weeks and a day or so. I went in for my last ob check at 38.1 weeks and we found in top of everything else with my horrible pregnancy I also had preeclampsia, I had her the next day at 38.2 weeks. So as you can see based on circumstances (natural labor and preeclampsia) insurance allowed earlier delivery
@vvrobinson lol right that all goes away once baby's here lol and what if I don't progress? Dont they wait till 41 weeks then they will induce?
@jenny955 it'll happen when the baby is ready lol just enjoy the quiet. They aren't kidding when they say you will enjoy the quiet and ability to nap in peace 💕😂
@vvrobinson yeah my last appt I wasnt dilated at all got to a 2 in a week so it could take awhile but you never know
@laniejay outdated, I was just at labor and delivery 2 days ago and said if they needed to induce me it wouldn't be a problem because I'm full term and my reg doctor says the same thing . And I'm a couple days away from being 38 weeks. I said nothing about me trying to get my baby out, I asked for other moms experiences when they got to a 2
@jenny955 yeah you could but you could also be waiting weeks lol
@sjo1 damn my doctor said I cpuld go into labor tonight or in a week it all depends
@jenny955, 39-40 weeks is full term. 37 weeks being full term is extremely outdated information. 37 weeks is early term.
@laniejay 37 weeks is full term by the way
@laniejay it was a question... I'm not trying to get my baby out
I was 2 til last week sometime then I went to a 3 but I’ve been dilated since 30 weeks
With my son I went into labor once I reached 2 cm. This time around I've been 2 cm since my appointment 3 days ago and I'm still pregnant. It can vary so much.
Dilation is no indication of when you’ll go into labor at this gestation. I was 4cm for 3 weeks with my first.
You’re not even full term yet, let baby bake. Rest up and know that this is important time for brain growth and lung development.
I've been a 2 for two and a half weeks.... I'm still waiting for labor lol :(
@china_1 omgggg just reading that statement makes me sore and miserable 😂😂
