Tips for dealing with a broken arm with a (almost) 2 year old? She won't let me ice it like I should be and most of her tops won't go over her cast. Keeping it clean and dry has also been hell.

I saw a thing on Walmart.com earlier it was actually to cover cast for bath times and stuff like that for little kids to keep them dry you might want to look that up.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Just keep an eye out for swelling that’s all I’d worry about honestly. Just keep it dry is all.

@sarah.cutshall They didn't tell me to ice it but the papers they sent us home with said to for the first 3 days 10-20 minutes at a time every like 2 hours. I'm wondering if paper means for older kids because when I try it's a screaming fit.

Baby won't bear weight on leg

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.
